Ford Ranger Wildtrak Off-Road Tourer Build

This Ford Ranger Wildtrak arrived at the shop with a few modifications prior to undergoing the Towing Performance Centre treatment, with A/T wheels, a roof rack, snorkel and awning. The team was tasked with upgrading the Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), along with some supporting modifications to make this Ranger touring ready.

Ford Ranger Off-Road Bull Bar

An Offroad Animal Predator Bullbar was chosen for this build for its variety of benefits from mounting accessories to housing the factory vehicle sensors.

Within the bull bar you will find a 9500lb Carbon Winch installed for recoveries along with two STEDI Light Bars concealed safely inside.

Tray Fit Out for Ford Ranger

The tub tray has received a MSA fit out with a Single Draw, Power Panel & Fridge Slide for ease of access to accessories and equipment. An ARB Twin Air Compressor has been neatly installed beside the fridge slide in a custom box with an external air hose connection point.

Additional changes in the tray include a custom fuse box, Redarc BC to DC Charger & 2000W Inverter.

3.5T GVM Upgrade for Ford Ranger

This Wildtraks payload was increased with the installation of a Pedders 3.5T GVM Upgrade adding an extra 300kg of payload capacity. Airbag Man Airbags have also been fitted to counteract any sagging, improve ride quality along with steering & handling whilst towing.
