Yes, the ATM of your caravan can be upgraded with a suspension retrofit if all conditions are met. Our in house TMR Approved engineers can do the necessary compliance work to increase your ATM*.
* QLD registered trailers and where conditions permit.
*For interstate registered caravans/trailers we can provide the required engineering evidence to provide to a TMR Engineer in the appropriate state to action the mod plate. (New ATMs are not legally effective until engineering approval and mod plate has been applied).

In most scenarios the exisitng suspension in your caravan, camper or trailer can be upgraded through a suspension retrofit. Retrofits to a new suspension system can involve modifications to chassis, removal of exisiting hangers and new mounting hardware.
*Note: Suspension upgrades may be limited by the age of caravan/trailers. A pre-inspection is required for caravans/trailers over 10 years of age. Most caravans 20 years or older are not compatible for a suspension retrofit.

Yes, caravans with on road suspension can be retrofitted with off-road suspension to improve it's ability to handly off-road terrains. Off-road systems can increase ground clearance, wheel travel and improved ability to handle corrugations & rough terrains.

Air suspension systems can be retrofitted to caravans with varying levels of work required. Systems such as the Cruisemaster ATX can be a direct swap of the coil to air, however a retrofit can include a new suspension system, modification to chassis, removal of exisiting hangers and new mounting hardware required.
